The Paste Comedy Night Returns on Wednesday Sept. 12

Comedy Features stand-up

We’re doing comedy again at the Paste Studio in New York City. Well, we’re not doing the comedy, but we are hosting it, and putting it up live on Facebook, even. The people doing the actual comedy are Myq Kaplan and Mark Normand and Eudora Peterson and Lorelei Ramirez and Shane Torres, with Kevin O’Shea and Cameron Vannini hosting—all of them pros, all of them above reproach. This is happening this Wednesday, Sept. 12, at the Manhattan Center in New York, and if you’re near there and want to be in the room when it happens, you can RSVP here. It’s free, and there will be beer courtesy of Brooklyn Brewery, and also pizza, and the kind of deep-seated laughter that can replenish the soul, and hey: it’s free, all of it, if you RSVP.

And if you aren’t in New York, you can still watch it at Paste’s Facebook page.

Let’s sum it up again:

1. It’s a comedy showcase, live in the Paste Studio and on Facebook, on Wednesday, Sept. 12
2. It’s at the Manhattan Center at 311 W. 34th between 8th and 9th Avenues
3. It’s on the Sixth Floor in Room TV2
4. It’ll feature performances from Myq Kaplan, Mark Normand, Eudora Peterson, Lorelei Ramirez and Shane Torres
5. You have to RSVP here if you want to come in person
6. You can also watch it live at Paste’s Facebook page
7. And there’ll be free pizza and beer from Brooklyn Brewery

It seems like a good deal. You should come, if you’re around. And if you aren’t around, you should definitely watch it on Facebook. That’d be the decent thing to do, for sure.

Oh, here’s a flyer! And if you want to see Shane Torres’s set from the last time he played the Paste Studio, scroll down to the bottom of the page. He did a great job, that Shane.
