Yesterday, the official lineup for Ariana Grande’s benefit concert—One Love Manchester—was announced to the world. Performers announced included: Usher, Katy Perry, Justin Bieber, Miley Cyrus, Pharrell, Niall Horan, Coldplay, Usher and Take That, with more expected. The June 4 concert is intended to raise money for those affected by the Manchester bombing that killed 22 people after an Ariana Grande concert on May 22. But that’s not all: a now-deleted tweet from Black Eyed Peas member Taboo tagged the iconic rock band Oasis as one of the performers.
The band—fronted by brothers Noel and Liam Gallagher—has not played a show since 2009 due to a long-standing feud between the Gallaghers. But tensions have seemed to ease somewhat over the years. Liam even wished his brother a happy birthday recently.

Liam also expressed interest in a possible reunion in a recent interview with The Sun:
We were one of the greatest ever definitely. And we still are. If we got back it would be business as usual. Regardless of whether we are living in a Kanye or f***ing X Factor world, we'd put them all to bed… At the moment, it's a bazillion light years away. I'd love to, but obviously – it's down to Ronnie Corbett [Noel], innit?
Add all of that to Liam's recent debut solo performance in Manchester, during which he broke out several Oasis classics, and there are definitely a few reasons to be intrigued.
But a true reunion still seems somewhat unlikely. For his part, Taboo has claimed his tweet was a mistake. He's since published a new tweet that has corrected for “human error.” It's very possible that the rumor was just a mistake created by an errant thumb, but then again, it seems like a pretty goofy thing to “accidentally” type.

It’s likely we won’t know anything until either at the event, or right before Oasis takes the stage on June 4.
